3D Revolution?

In the last time we can hear lot of claims about revolution in 3D printing area. But is really something revolutionary here?

When the Rep Rap comunity has been started, this was really revolution, because they brought expensive technology into the kitchen. Others only copy this attitude and did not have any really revolutionary ideas.

Short time ago the HP announced they new 3D printer with claim that they totally change the 3D printing industry.  So HP 3D printer is probably faster than others, but the idea of this technology is not new and is not absolutely different than others.

We can see now lot of effort in research and development and we can looking forward for something quite new. The 3D printing future is still open and is not discovered at all.

Probably in the moment when the 3D printer will be able to put atoms to each other and create the matter  we can say that the development is on the end of the way.

Until this time we will hear many times about some „revolution“.
